The Everbilt T-O-D style Single-Pole Lower Thermostat is ideal for use in 2-element residential water heaters and can replace APCOM-style thermostats. These water heaters often have a "non-simultaneous" design, which means only one element is on at any given time. This thermostat has a temperature-sensitive bi-metal disc to deliver snap action to the contacts.

Fits most brands: Rheem, Ruud, Richmond, GE, State, Kenmore, Bradford White, AO Smith, American, Craftmaster, Lochinvar, Reliance, GS Wood, Mor-Flo and Whirlpool
